Cancer Research UK - Shine Walk
'Walking together with a friend in the dark, is sometimes better than walking alone in the light.'
The work carried out by Cancer Research UK is pivotal to the survival rates of anyone diagnosed with cancer.
Kreena gathered a team of women to take part in the Cancer research Shine walk. This 26 miles walk through London was challenging, uplifting and rewarding. Collectively the team raised over £10k. In total over £4m was generated by participants to fund Cancer Research UK's life saving work.

The Royal Marsden has always felt like more than just a Hospital to Kreena, it's a place where she feels at home. The Marsden saved her life, the nurses became her friends when the outside world so alien to her. At the Marsden there was no need for pretence, no need hide her fear, no need to be anything she didn't want to be.
Since completing active treatment Kreena remains in touch with her Oncology team on a personal basis, and in 2018 she brought a team together to take part in the Marsden March and raise funds for the incredible Royal Marsden Charity.
